Improving Head Rotation and Alignment in Session 1

Improving Head Rotation and Alignment in Session 1

Do you hold your head too far forward? The sternocleidomastoid (SCM) muscle is part of that pattern. It can also hold your neck short, not allowing you to be as tall and graceful as you could be. Often discomfort in the back of the neck is coming from tension in the front and sides of the neck.

Since there are nerves, veins, arteries, the esophagus, and other delicate structures in these areas, my work is very specific and is informed by a detailed knowledge of anatomy. Typically, work in this area feels wonderful and will give you a sense of freedom in your neck.
